WORKPACKAGES

The project consists of three groups of a total of 10 workpackages.

 

Workpackages A1-A4

Creation of a network of National PGR Inventories, in which (A1) National PGR Inventory Focal Persons for each EU member or associated state is nominated, in consultation by the ECPGR National Coordinator, (A2) two times four regional meetings are organised to support and coordinate the creation of National PGR Inventories, (A3) three times three visits of staff, involved with the preparation of National PGR Inventories, to selected Project Participants are organised, individual support to Focal Points is given, and (A4) a pan-European meeting of all Focal Persons and the Project Participants is organised. These activities will result in a network of a considerable number of standardised National PGR Inventories. [more]

 

Workpackages B1-B4

Creation of a the European Search Catalogue, in which (B1) the technical details of the European Search Catalogue are defined and described, (B2) technical system running the European Search Catalogue is created and implemented, (B3) initial data sets are created (from the available National Inventories combined with the ECPGR Central Crop Databases) and loaded, and (B4) the Catalogue is publicised and promoted. These activities will result in a operational European Search Catalogue with c. 70% of the data on PGR in Europe. [more]

 

Workpackages C1-C2

Coordination, in which (C1) the general coordination of the project, including reporting and administration, is done, and (C2) three coordination meetings of the Project Participants are organised.[more]
