Austria

  • A new institution was founded in 2012 at the Horticultural College and Research Institute in Schönbrunn (Vienna, Austria): the City Farm Schönbrunn [link in German]. In this paradisiac garden gathering a large vegetable diversity, children of all ages learn about gardening, healthy food and nature’s cycles. This project was awarded the third prize out of 233 applicants by the well-respected SozialMarie patronized by Austria, Hungary and Czech Republic [see link]
