The project on "Safeguarding of potato onion (Allium cepa L. Aggregatum group) and garlic (Allium sativum L.) crop diversity in North Europe - Baltic region (SafeAlliDiv)", submitted by the Allium Working Group for funding under the Fourth Call of the ECPGR Activity Grant Scheme, was selected by the Executive Committee. 2013
Further development of the European Allium Database

Thanks to the database manager Markus Oppermann at IPK, Gatersleben, the European Allium Database has been upgraded into a database which is searchable online. This is a real improvement in contrast to the earlier state of an Access database only.
